People Share Signs That Made Them Do a Double Take

Full confession: I am a typography nerd. Anytime I have to print something out, most of my time is spent picking the perfect font. I have strong opinions about Papyrus and Comic Sans, and I go crazy for a nice Sans Serif font with round letterforms and tall x-heights.

So, in my opinion, this sign is the most horrifying we have seen so far. First off, was this really the moment to use a novelty font? Secondly, does the maker of this sign realize that this is a font best reserved for cheaply made posters advertising cheaply made horror movies? Personally, I wouldn’t call that number if my life depended on it (especially since the font hints that my life could indeed hang in the balance).
