There are two types of people in the world: SpongeBob fans and people who get insanely annoyed with him. Even though I’m team SpongeBob all the way, I totally get why many people can’t stand our little yellow friend. I almost switched teams after watching those episodes where he tries to get his driver’s license.
SpongeBob is by far the animated show to have the most fans’ conspiracy theories. Fans love to come up with outlandish, unsettling theories about the true nature of Spongebob Squarepants. The most popular and possibly accurate one claims that Bikini Bottom was created due to nuclear testing! It suggests that Bikini Bottom was under the island Bikini Atoll, which is where nuclear weapons were tested and also what the swimsuit was named after.
