Pause-Worthy Scenes In Hollywood History

This Neil Jordan 1992 thriller, The Crying Game, was set in Northern Ireland. The movie was super successful when it was first released to theaters, both commercially and critically acclaimed. One thing, or one person, who caught people’s attention in particular, was nightclub singer Dil, played by Jane Davidson. She is responsible for one scene that made it to this list.

IRA volunteer Fergus makes a promise to his friend to look after his girlfriend, Dil, when he can no longer do so (we don’t want to include too many spoilers in case you haven’t watched the film). Fergus then returns to London to seek her out. The truly shocking scene is when it is revealed that the beautiful Dil is transgender.
