#6: That’s All, Folks!
I bet that most of you reading this have never thought about how to spell “Looney Tunes”; after all, at the time of your life when you’re watching them, it’s not like you’re writing a lot of letters or memoirs about your daily activities.

So you might be as surprised as this person was to learn that it’s “Looney Tunes,” not “Looney Toons.” It’s a natural assumption, though; if it were the latter, you’d have that nice repeated “oon” in both words, and anyway, you’re watching cartoons, not listening to tunes. The real mystery is why they gave the cartoon such a weird name.
