In reality, Viking warriors were practical, not theatrical. Their helmets were simple creations of leather and metal, designed for protection, not spectacle.
Adding horns would have been more of a liability, offering enemies an easy grip during combat. This enduring myth, while visually striking, has little to do with the gritty reality of Viking life.
